Longines

Out of the prestigious tradition of watchmaking, Longines was founded in Switzerland in 1832. The brand has a rich history and is characterised by its aesthetic and technical innovations. The founders' ambition was to capture the spirit of the times, striving for progress without being subject to fashion whims and aiming for exceptional results without losing sight of simplicity. All these elements are still pursued today and can be found in various collections in the Watchmaking segment.

Longines inspires and loves to be inspired. Since its beginnings, they have been closely associated with, for example, pilots and explorers. Their aim was not to achieve great fame but to meet the needs of these pioneers. In the 1880s, Longines succeeded in measuring sporting events to within 1/5 of a second. Their continuing quest for precision and functionality means that they are still very present in various sports. For example, they are still very much associated with horseracing, Formula 1, tennis and rhythmic and artistic gymnastics.
